After many years spent djing and collaborating with diverse famous artists of the actual electro scene, such as Poni Hoax or Reminiscent Drive, Olga Kouklaki finally decided to release her own project, which enables her to prove her talent as a songwriter and composer.
On her album GETALIFE, the Greek DJ / singer / arranger expresses powerfully all her creativity in terms of sounds and voice modulator, by putting electronic music to the service of emotion. On “Getalife” (which will be preceded by a maxi including exclusive remixes by Blackstrobe and Volga Select) and “How do you feel”, Olga’s deep and sensual singing is emphasized by loud and dark arrangements.
Her sensual voice covering the very organic beats and pads strongly contributes to distil a melancholic feeling, as it is especially the case on “Pick up your pieces” or “Her own right”. The intensity is also due to the electro-synthetic sounds that remind us more of natural beats than computer like creations...
