ALEX 1987 saw Alex improvising herself as a singer when some of her friends She was back in the scene with Spring, in 1993. Signed on spanish structure Elefant Records, the smooth and elegant pop of this band got them into playing many gigs with Moose, Lush and, later, supporting Pulp on their 1995 tour. the band went touring Spain but by December 1998, the story ended up. Again, Alex was out of sight... That’s when she remembered the words of the manager she had in Spring… So, she got a herself a Casio and a walkman and even though she couldn’t really play, seventeen songs did immerge out of winter, in january 1999. Next step was to make them sound larger. And she called back… Who else? Marc Collin… Tape and Exchange, a real work started from then on, until march 2000, revealing ten songs ready to be packed. Now, take theshutters down and get yourself a drink. No matter why in march 2000, all wasleft on the strand as she escaped to London. But that doesn’t really matter with Alex back now in the parisian suburb, the Lp is coming out in France in early 2003 and sounds as it was recorded the night before. So, pick up your modern magazines and step into the fabulous world of electronic melting pop that soon will come into your capitol.
